WATERMELON POPS INGREDIENTS
This fun and easy Watermelon Popsicle recipe uses everyday kitchen staples to create a delicious snack your family will love.
All you need is:
- Small watermelon
- 1/2 cup Vanilla Yogurt
- 1/2 tbsp Honey, maple syrup, or agave
- Mashed kiwi
- Mini chocolate chips or cocoa nibs, optional
WATERMELON POPS RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
Begin by adding the watermelon to the blender.
Blend on high and strain out the seeds.
Fill the cavities of a popsicle mold about half full with the pureed watermelon.
Add cocoa nibs if you’d like to make it look like there are seeds.
Place in the freezer for one hour.
Next, mix together yogurt and the sweetener.
In a separate bowl, remove the skin from the kiwi and mash with a fork, and set aside.
Remove the popsicle molds from the freezer, add some yogurt mix to each popsicle and freeze for 45 mins.
Afterward, add some kiwi to each popsicle and add popsicle sticks and let freeze until sold for a minimum of 4-5 hours.
In about 7 hours, you’ll have a refreshing summer snack that’s sure to become a new favorite!

This Watermelon Popsicle recipe takes approximately 6 hours and 54 minutes. TOTAL. This includes:
- About 5 minutes to prep the watermelon and blend
- Close to 2 minutes to pour watermelon into each popsicle mold
- Around 1 hour to freeze the watermelon portion
- 47 minutes to mix the yogurt and add to the popsicles and freeze
- 5 hours to add the kiwi and popsicle sticks and freeze until solid
HOW DO I STORE WATERMELON POPS?
You can store Watermelon Pops in an airtight container in your freezer for up to 3 months.
Simply remove the popsicle from the freezer when you are ready to eat.
CAN I USE GREEK YOGURT INSTEAD OF REGULAR YOGURT?
Yes, you can use greek yogurt instead of regular yogurt to make these popsicles. It will still taste great.

I suggest using a seedless watermelon for easy prep but you can also use one with seeds.
You simply need to strain the watermelon puree before pouring it into the popsicle molds.
CAN I SWEETEN THE WATERMELON PUREE?
If you find the watermelon puree is not sweet enough you can add some honey to it.
Mix some honey together with the pureed watermelon and then taste it.
If it’s not sweet enough add some more honey. You can also add some honey to the mashed kiwi for some added sweetness.
