Pork chops are one of the quickest and easiest meat to cook. They taste great no matter how you make them whether marinated or seasoned with a rub, baked, fried or grilled – it’s hard to go wrong when you cook with them! Even better, as far as meat goes, they are pretty affordable. Below is one of my family’s favorite recipes, Garlic Pork Chops. It calls for just a few ingredients and very little time.
Happy Cooking!

Cooking Time: 35 to 45 minutes
Serves: 4

4 3/4″ bone-in pork chops
1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
1 package dry Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing/Seasoning Mix
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon thyme
Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions

In a bowl combine the cheese, garlic and dry salad dressing mix.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Moisten each pork chop (one at a time) slightly with water then dredge through mixture in bowl making sure to coat both sides.
Place the pork chops in shallow baking dish.
Cover with foil, and place in the oven.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a meat thermometer inserted in the middle reads 160°, or 170° if you like your chops well done.
Tip: for a beautiful golden color, flip halfway through the cooking process.
Once finished serve with a side salad and another vegetable.
Enjoy!
