Instructions

This sweet jarcuterie is perfect for serving as dessert at parties, weddings, bridal showers, or just making a serving for yourself and enjoying it as a snack or dessert.

People will love having a taste of all of these sweet items all in one jar. Sweet Jarcuterie is great because people don’t need extra plates or utensils to enjoy it.  

Sweet Jarcuterie

You can make as many jars of sweet jarcuterie as you want. This recipe is for 8 jars but you can always just make one for yourself whenever you are craving something sweet.

You can make it as simple or as fancy as you want. 

Jarcuterie is great for children and adults. You can use budget-friendly ingredients like palma violets sweets or marshmallows or higher-end items like dried fruit.

You can fill the jars with all your favorite sweet ingredients for an indulgent snack or dessert.

SWEET JARCUTERIE INGREDIENTS

SWEET JARCUTERIE

This fun and easy Sweet Jarcuterie recipe uses everyday kitchen staples to create a delicious snack or dessert your family will love. You can easily find all of these ingredients at your local grocery store.

All you need is:

  • chocolate dipped strawberries 
  • chocolate stripped pretzel sticks 
  • chocolate stripped mini pretzel twists 
  • mini marshmallows 
  • TikTok trend crunchy or candied fruit or dried fruit 

SWEET JARCUTERIE RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

Sweet jarcuterie is extremely easy to make. If you want to add some fun extra touches like candy-coated fruit the methods are below.

If you would like to make candied fruit use this simple method to create a candy coating for your fruit.

Take a bowl and add ice and water and set aside.

Mix one part water, two parts sugar in a heavy-bottomed saucepan or skillet.

Bring this mixture to a boil.

Take the fruit you would like to cover in a candy coating and skewer the fruit with large toothpicks.

Next, submerge the fruit in the sugar syrup.

Dip the sugar-coated fruit skewers in ice water to harden the syrup into a crunchy glaze.

If the sugar doesn’t turn into a crunchy glaze, it wasn’t hot enough.

If doing a lot at once, make sure to allow the skewered fruit to harden separately.

If it is humid the sugar may have trouble setting.

I recommend placing the sugar-coated fruit skewers in the fridge to help the sugar set.

If you would like to coat the pretzels and strawberries in chocolate use this method.  

Use your preferred colors of candy melts or almond bark.

Melt the candy melts according to package instructions.

Pour the melted candy melts to piping bags or ziplock bags.

Place the pretzels and strawberries on a plate, cookie sheets, cooling rack, etc.

Cut a small hole in the tip and decorate the pretzels and strawberries with zigzag stripes all over.

SWEET JARCUTERIE

Cover in one color or multiple colors of candy melts. You can add sprinkles if you’d like.

Let the pretzels and strawberries sit to harden or place in the fridge to speed this up.

Break the chocolate-covered pretzels apart into clusters to stand up in the jars. 

SWEET JARCUTERIE

To assemble the sweet jarcuterie, start by placing the marshmallows in the bottom of the jars.

Add in layers of each item into all of the jars.

If you need to use more fillers consider adding in chocolate chips, nuts, candy-coated nuts, etc.

Serve immediately.

In about 15 minutes to 40 minutes, you’ll have a personal-size charcuterie that’s sure to become a new favorite!

HOW LONG DOES IT REALLY TAKE TO MAKE CHARCUTERIE IN A JAR?

Jarcuterie needs very little prep and the time required is mainly for assembling it. This Sweet Jarcuterie recipe takes approximately 38 minutes. TOTAL.

This includes:

  • Close to 30 minutes to cover the pretzels and strawberries in chocolate
  • About 20 minutes to coat the fruit in a candy coating while waiting for the chocolate-coated pretzels to harden
  • 8 minutes to assemble all of the jars 
SWEET JARCUTERIE

HOW DO I STORE LEFTOVER SWEET JARCUTERIE?

You can store leftover Sweet Jarcuterie in an airtight container in your refrigerator for up to 3 days. 

CAN I USE ANY SIZE OF JAR TO MAKE JARCUTERIE?

You can use any size of jar to make jarcuterie with. You can even use water glasses to make jarcuterie with. Anything that can hold a handful of ingredients will work perfectly for jarcuterie.

If your jar is very small you can make everything fit by placing more items on large toothpicks. Your jar does not need a lid since the charcuterie items always end up overflowing out of the jar.

CAN I MAKE SWEET JARCUTERIE AHEAD OF TIME?

Yes, you can easily make a sweet jarcuterie ahead of time. I recommend storing the jarcuterie in the fridge until you are ready to serve.

I would only make the jarcuterie one day ahead of time because of the strawberries. 

WHAT GOES WELL WITH SWEET JARCUTERIE?

Sweet Jarcuterie goes well with a wide variety of snacks and desserts. These recipes would be great to serve together.

  • instant yeast
  • some salt
  • a little bit of sugar
  • milk
  • butter
  • an egg
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • parmesan cheese
  • dried thyme

Grease a loaf pan and set aside.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Cover the dough with a cloth and let the dough rise on the counter.

Herbed Butter Pull-Apart Bread

Mouthwatering bread recipe? Yes please! You can make this savory Herbed Butter Pull-Apart Bread in an hour. The best part about it is that the dough comes together quickly and you only need one bowl to clean up. It's also packed full of flavor thanks to garlic, onion, basil, thyme and oregano butter brushed on before baking.

Prep Time 50 minutes
Cook Time 50 minutes
Rest Time 1 hour 20 minutes
Total Time 3 hours

Ingredients

  • 4 ½ Cups flour
  • 2 ½ Tsps instant yeast
  • 1 Tsp salt
  • 1 Tsp sugar
  • 1 ½ Cups milk, warm
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Egg

For the herbed butter:

  • ⅓ Cup butter
  • 1 Tsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tsp onion powder
  • ⅓ Cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tsp dried thyme
  • 1 Tsp dried rosemary
  • ½ Tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Grease a baking pan. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the dough attachment, combine the flour with the instant yeast, salt, and sugar.
  3. Add the milk, butter, and eggs and knead for 6 minutes until the dough is soft and elastic. Transfer to a bowl and cover with a cloth. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  4. In a bowl combine the ingredients of the herbed butter until creamy and incorporated. Set aside.
  5. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and divide into 4 even pieces. With the help of a rolling pin roll out each piece until you get a large rectangle, around 12x8 inches.
  6. Spread a generous layer of herbed butter on top and cut into 5 to 6 smaller rectangles. Place them on top of one another.
  7. Transfer to the prepared baking pan. Repeating the process with the rest of the dough.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cover with a cloth and let the dough rise for 20 minutes.
  9. Take to the oven and bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown and down.

Notes

This bread is delicious and it lasts fresh for around 5 days so it’s a great make-ahead option for any holiday or get-together.

You can also add some chopped parsley and some pepper but it’s delicious as is.

Feel free to play with the fillings, add some pesto, some chopped salami, or even caramelized onions to the layers.

Kielbasa Bacon Bites

In a large skillet, place the sliced kielbasa, and chopped onion, and saute until the Kielbasa and onion are golden brown.

Pour the Country Bob’s sauce over the skillet, enough to coat, and make a gooey sauce. 

Sprinkle with finely chopped parsley.

The steps will be pretty much the same.

As for the taste, I prefer Country Bob’s but you can use any bbq sauce you like that compliments the flavors of kielbasa.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR PHYLLO DOUGH TO UNTHAW?

It takes about 8 hours in the refrigerator for phyllo dough to unthaw.

It is best to take it out of the freezer the night before and then place it in the refrigerator.

Then a few hours before using it, check to see if it has unthawed.

If it is still slightly frozen, leave it out at room temperature for another hour or two. 

WHAT ELSE CAN I ADD TO THIS KIELBASA BACON BITES RECIPE?

This simple Kielbasa Bacon Bites recipe not only tastes great, but it’s also incredibly versatile.

Try adding sauteed bell peppers to the Kielbasa mixture.

When you are sauteing the kielbasa and onions also add in chopped red, green, or yellow bell peppers and saute until soft. YUM!

These little Kielbasa bites are so good, and they would be perfect for appetizers, on a buffet table, or to pass around at a party. 

They are really simple to make, only take a few ingredients, and look like elegant little puffs when you’re done.

You can easily make chocolate-dipped strawberries by taking clean strawberries and dipping them into melted chocolate chips and allowing them to cool until the chocolate is hardened.

You can also follow my recipe for quick chocolate-dipped strawberries.

HOW DO I MAKE CHOCOLATE PRESENTATION BOWLS?

You can make round chocolate presentation bowls by taking a bowl and bowling it up to a small size and dipping the blown-up balloon bottom in melted chocolate.

Then allow the chocolate to harden and then pop the balloon.

To make heart-shaped presentation bowls, you need to use a heart-shaped silicone mold.

Take melted chocolate and brush it inside the mold and allow it to harden.

Then pop out the heart-shaped chocolate mold.

This easy Instant Pot Orange Cranberry Chutney recipe uses everyday kitchen staples to create a delicious condiment your family will love.

If you don’t have the items in your fridge you can easily find them at your local grocery store.

All you need is:

  • oranges
  • whole-berry cranberry sauce 
  • honey crisp apples 
  • sugar
  • golden raisin
  • rice wine vinegar
  • brown sugar
  • ground ginger
  • ground cinnamon
  • honey
  • lemon juice
  • orange juice

INSTANT POT ORANGE CRANBERRY CHUTNEY RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

Begin by placing a liner in the Instant Pot.

Peel and chop the oranges and the apples, be mindful to remove the seeds, and place the oranges and apples in the Instant Pot.

Add the cranberry sauce, sugar, golden raisins, vinegar, brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, honey, lemon juice, and orange juice, and stir well.

When the chutney is finished cooking, Open the lid, and stir the chutney.

HOW LONG DOES IT REALLY TAKE TO COOK ORANGE CRANBERRY CHUTNEY IN THE INSTANT POT?

One of the many reasons I love my Instant Pot is because everything you make takes much less time.

This Instant Pot Orange Cranberry Chutney recipe takes approximately 1 hour and 23 minutes minutes. TOTAL.

This includes:

  • About 10 minutes to peel and chop the oranges and apples
  • Close to 5 minutes to add the ingredients to the Instant Pot
  • Around 13 minutes for the pot to come to pressure (this is how long it took my pot)
  • 20 minutes manual (high) pressure
  • 5 minutes for pressure release
  • 30 minutes to allow the chutney to cool and then store in jars

A variety of sweeteners adds a nice flavor to the chutney but you can simplify this recipe by using all white sugar.

Ingredients

  • 2 Oranges - peeled and sectioned
  • 1 can of Whole-berry Cranberry sauce - 16 ounces
  • 2 Honey Crisp Apples - peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup of Sugar
  • 1/2 cup of Golden Raisins
  • 1 Tablespoon of Rice wine Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup of Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon
  • 1 Tablespoon of Honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Lemon Juice
  • 1/3 cup of Orange Juice

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the Oranges and the Apples, and place in the Instant Pot.
  2. Add the Cranberry sauce. Sugar, Golden Raisins, Vinegar, Brown Sugar, Ginger, Cinnamon, Honey, Lemon Juice, and Orange Juice, and stir well.
  3. Place the lid on the Instant Pot, and make sure the pressure valve is set to 'SEALING'.
  4. Press the 'PRESSURE COOK' button, and set the time for 20 minutes.
  5. When the Chutney is finished cooking, turn the Pressure valve to 'VENTING' to make sure all the pressure has been released, and make sure the Float Valve is down.
  6. Open the lid, and stir the Chutney.
  7. Mashup any pieces of Orange, or Apple chunks, and remove the Instant Pot Liner, and allow the Chutney to cool.
  8. When cool, stir well, then ladle into a dish, cover, and Refrigerate.
  9. Serve with Brunch, lunch, or dinner. Enjoy!
