Dry the buckets completely.
Next, download the cut file set, upload to Cricut Design Space, and follow the prompts to cut the shapes from the heat transfer vinyl.
Since there is no text in the files, you do not need to mirror the design, but do remember to put the heat transfer vinyl shiny-side-down onto the light grip mat.

Use the EasyPress Mini to affix the designs onto the front side (the flattest side) of each laundry bucket.
Carefully, peel away the transfer sheet from the laundry bucket.
Place tealights into the laundry buckets and enjoy!
HALLOWEEN LAUNDRY BUCKET TIPS AND QUESTIONS
If you’ve never made Halloween Laundry Buckets with a Cricut, don’t worry! Below are some common questions and helpful tips.
Hopefully, this will answer any questions you may have.
If not, feel free to ask in the comments and I’ll answer the best I can.
HOW LONG DOES IT REALLY TAKE TO CREATE HALLOWEEN LAUNDRY BUCKETS USING A CRICUT?
One of the many reasons I love my Cricut is because everything ends up looking so amazing in less time.
This Halloween Laundry Bucket craft takes approximately 22 minutes. TOTAL.
This includes:
- About 5 minutes to gently remove the labels
- Close to 6 minutes to wash and dry the buckets
- Around 5 minutes to download the cut files and print
- 6 minutes to apply the labels to the buckets
If you were painting the faces to the buckets this could take a long time because you would need to draw the faces, make sure they are perfect, then paint and wait for it to dry.
DO I NEED TO PAINT THE LAUNDRY BUCKETS BEFORE USING THEM?
Nope. I selected laundry buckets that match the color of Frankenstein, a ghost, and a pumpkin so no painting is necessary.
If you can’t find a laundry bucket that matches the color you could spray paint it and then apply the vinyl shapes.
CAN I MAKE HALLOWEEN LAUNDRY BUCKETS WITHOUT A CRICUT?
Yes, you can make this Cricut Halloween Laundry Bucket without a Cricut but you would need to paint the faces onto the buckets.
If you were painting the faces to the buckets you could either create a template and then spray paint the faces onto the buckets or hand-paint the faces with a brush and paint.
WHAT GOES WELL WITH CRICUT HALLOWEEN LAUNDRY BUCKETS?
Halloween Laundry Buckets go well with a wide variety of Halloween Crafts.
Some of my personal favorites include:
- Paper Halloween Clothespins
- Halloween Candy Wreath
- Cricut All Over Spider Jars
- Pastel Skull Wreath
- Cricut Unicorn Pumpkin
WHAT ELSE CAN I ADD TO THIS HALLOWEEN LAUNDRY BUCKET CRAFT?
This simple Laundry Bucket craft is not only easy, but it’s also incredibly versatile.
Try adding cobweb decoration spray, plastic spiders, and Halloween lights like orange lights string around the buckets.
