This recipe is a unique, Halloween style twist on an old favorite, smores. Today I’m featuring these delicious Frankenstein smores so that you and the family can have fun whipping up this special Halloween style treat. It’s great to make this Frankenstein smores recipe with any age kid as this Halloween character isn’t as scary as some of the other Halloween creatures we may see lingering around this time of year. Whether you’re planning to enjoy these Frankenstein smores with your family or serve as a special trick or treating treat, these smores will look amazing dressed up as Frankenstein just in time for the Halloween season.
What’s Needed
- Marshmallow Monster Peeps (Frankenstein)
- Graham Crackers (you’ll need 9 halves)
- 18 Rolo Candies (unwrapped)
- Hershey Bars
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place graham crackers on a cookie sheet and top each one with a 3-piece Hershey bar.
Place in oven for about 2-3 minutes. This will let the chocolate soften just a little.
Take out and place the Frankenstein peep on top of the chocolate. Place back in the oven for another 2-3 minutes. It doesn’t take to long for the marshmallow to soften so keep an eye on them.
Take out of the oven and place 2 rolo candies on each side of the neck. You might have to hold for a few seconds.
Enjoy right away for that ooey gooey goodness!
*Optional: You can add a graham cracker topper if you’d like.
